  • If you're new to yoga, we recommend starting with Yoga Essentials, our yoga foundation class. You'll learn the basics of posture, alignment, and breathwork in a supportive environment.

    Once you feel more confident on the mat, you can attend our open-level classes. These classes offer modifications and variations to ensure everyone can participate and progress at their own pace. Most of our classes are open level.

  • Yes! Our Introductory Offer is the perfect way to try out different yoga styles and find what works best for you and your body. Plus, you’ll get to practice with a variety of experienced teachers.

    If you’ve enjoyed your first time on the mat with us and only booked a one-off Casual Class, don’t stress! We can upgrade you to an Intro Offer so you can come and try more classes.

  • All you need to bring is yourself, a water bottle and an open mind. We provide you with everything you need; including Manduka Pro Yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, straps and other nifty yoga props. Please feel free to bring your own yoga mat and yoga towel if you’d prefer.

    Wear flexible and light exercise clothing that will allow you to move comfortably.

  • Yes, our classes are suitable for students of all levels of experience, and we offer modifications in every class. Our teachers are all experienced in offering variations of different poses for beginner students, and more advanced modifications or progressions for the more experienced yogis. Yoga is all about your personal journey on the mat so we have a ‘do what you can’ philosophy!

    Yoga is not about touching your toes, but what you learn on the way down!

  • Yes, we recommend booking your spot in advance to ensure you get a space in your desired class. You can easily book your mat online through our website and the Momence app.

  • Consistency is key with everything. We recommend starting with 2-3 classes per week to build a solid foundation and develop a routine. As you grow more comfortable and confident in your practice, you can gradually increase the frequency of your sessions. Some of our dedicated yogis practice daily, while others find their sweet spot anywhere between 1-5 times a week.

    Remember, yoga is a personal journey, and it’s important to find a rhythm that works for you and your lifestyle. Listen to your body, be patient with yourself, and enjoy every step of your yoga adventure. Whether you’re seeking physical strength, mental clarity, or a moment of peace, your practice will evolve beautifully over time.

  • We recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before your class starts. This gives you plenty of time to check in, change if needed and find your mat for the class.

    Our classes start and finish on time, ensuring you get the full benefit of your session without any disruptions.

    To maintain the flow and focus of the class, and for the safety of students’ belongings, we lock the door at the start of class time.

  • There’s plenty of street parking available on Holtermann Street, just a short walk from the studio. Additionally, the council car park, located just 2 minutes’ walk away, offers free two-hour parking for one period per day.

  • You can cancel and/or make changes to any of your bookings through the Momence App.

    We understand that life happens, and it’s okay to change your mind. However, please remember to cancel your class at least 10 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation charge:

    • class credits for Class Pack holders

    • $10 late cancellation/no-show fee for members.

  • Some of our classes may be heated, including Power Flow, Slow Flow, Hot Sculpt Pilates, Yogalates, and Yin. Our booking system clearly indicates whether a class may be heated. Please reach out to us if you'd like confirmation or have any questions.

  • Yes, you can practice during pregnancy, but it’s important to choose the right classes and modifications. We recommend our Mum's Pilates class, which is specifically designed for both prenatal and postpartum mums, focusing on gentle, low-impact movements that support your body through pregnancy and beyond. Please note that heated classes are not recommended during pregnancy. Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting or continuing any exercise routine during pregnancy, and reach out to us if you have questions about which classes are best for you.

  • Absolutely! Working one-on-one is a fantastic way to dive deeper into your individual practice and address your specific needs.
